「初」次見面－看見臺灣
廖宜德 文字報導 / 陳怡婷編譯 這次參與ILT的國外青年們，有些是第一次來到臺灣，有些是來過臺灣好幾次，而透過開場時短短的影片介紹，讓各位參加者們以一個有趣的方式來瞭解臺灣，從便捷的臺灣生活到美味的臺灣食物，相信各位青年們都迫不及待在接下來的日子裡探索更深度的臺灣了！
此外，活動組的同工準備了夜市內有的遊戲攤位讓青年闖關，也讓參加者體驗到臺灣精彩的夜市文化。每個人心目中最喜歡的遊戲有所不同，經過我們的採訪，來自印尼的青年Jimmy （自稱handsome）表示他認為最好玩的遊戲是射飛鏢，覺得最困難的遊戲則是立酒瓶；而韓國的青年們則認為最好玩的遊戲是打彈珠，最困難的是套圈圈；還有一位來自紐西蘭的青年更表示打彈珠好玩到讓她想買一台回家。看到大家玩得如此盡興的臉龐，想必各位一定十分期待未來在臺灣的生活了！ Hello Taiwan! Li-ho Tai-oan! Ni-hao Tai-wan! So Happy to meet you!!

Some of them are here in Taiwan for the first time while others have been to Taiwan several times. Watching the brief video introducing Taiwan’s convenient life styles and delicious food, the participants got to know her in an interesting way. After the video “appetizer” we believe the ILT participants are even more eager to discover how profound Taiwan and her people are during the coming weeks. As an initiation to the Taiwan night market culture, the ILT staff set up typical Taiwan night-market’s game booths for the participants to play. Jimmy (who calls himself Handsome) from Indonesia thinks that the Pinball is most interesting and Bottle Hooking is the most challenging. Korean youths love Pinball game too but say Ring Tossing is not easy to play; one of the youth from New Zealand even wants to buy a Pinball machine to take back home! The smiling faces of all the participants affirm how much they enjoyed the night-market game booths, and they are looking forward to experiencing the “real deal” – the traditional night markets - sooner rather than later – watch out Taiwan here they come! Übersetzung: Lou-Charlotte Manterfeld Teilnehmer aus aller Welt sind für das ILT-Camp 2018 nach Taiwan gekommen. Für manche von ihnen ist es das erste mal, andere waren schon mehrmals hier in Taiwan. Durch ein kurzes Einführungsvideo, in dem Taiwans komfortabler Life-Style und das leckere Essen vorgestellt wurden, konnten die Teilnehmer die Insel auf eine interessante Weise kennenlernen. Wir hoffen, dass die internationalen Gäste nach diesem Video („Appetizer“) in der kommenden Zeit umso mehr über Taiwan und dessen Einwohner erfahren wollen. Hier besonders berühmt sind Night-Markets. Um allen Teilnehmern diese Seite der Taiwanesischen Kultur näher zu bringen, bereiteten PCT-Teamer typische Spielstände eines Night-Markets vor und jeder konnte die verschiedenen Stationen ausprobieren. Jimmy aus Indonesien (der sich selbst „handsome“ nennt) findet Pinball am interessantesten, am meisten herausgefordert hat ihn „Bottle-Hooking“. Auch koreanische Teilnehmer lieben Pinball und finden außerdem, dass Ring-Werfen nicht einfach ist. Einer unserer Teilnehmer aus Neuseeland will sich sogar eine Pinball-Maschine kaufen und mit nachhause nehmen. An den Lächeln in den Gesichtern der Teilnehmer sahen wir, wieviel Freude sie während der Spiele hatten. Sie hoffen, dass sie bald die Möglichkeit haben, einen richtigen Night-Market zu besuchen.

翻訳：胡宜芳 今回ILTに参加する青年たちは初めて台湾に来た人がいますし、台湾に何回も来た人もいます。オープニングは台湾文化を紹介する動画を通して、参加者が面白い方法で台湾を認識します。動画で便利な台湾生活からおいしい台湾グルメまでを紹介しました。青年たちもこれからの日々に台湾をもっと深く探索すると信じています。
ところが、活動組のスタッフは夜市にあるゲームを準備して、青年に台湾の素晴らしい夜市文化を体験させました。一人ひとりが好きなゲームはそれぞれで、インタビューしたインドネシア青年、ジミー（自称ハンサム）は一番好きなゲームがダーツで、一番難しいゲームはバトルフッキングです。韓国青年が一番楽しかったのはピンボールで、一番難しいのは輪投げです。あと一人はニュージーランドから来た青年はピンボールが楽しすぎて、ピンボールを買いたいと言っています。みなさんが楽しくて遊んだ姿を見て、必ずこれからの台湾生活を楽しみしているでしょう。
